If you own a lot, Courtesy Custom Homes would be glad to meet with you and discuss one of our beautiful homes on your land. Most customers of ours already have their land, but if you don’t have land yet, we can also help! We have close relationships with many local Realtors that can give you access to current availability of the marketplace.

How Do I Choose An Architect?

We have worked with many great architecture firms throughout the RGV and Texas. Through our experience, we’ve found some clients come to us with a specific architect in mind. We are glad to accommodate. If you don’t have a preference, we can also help based on the types of homes you like, we can find the right architect to fit your style.

How Long Does The Build Process Take?

That all depends on the level of customizations we have going into the project. An average Courtesy Custom Homes project will take approximately 6 months from initial meeting to completed home.

What Is The Cost Per Square Foot?

Many people ask this question. Having been a leader in the home building industry in the RGV since 1995, we’ve had the opportunity to establish relationships with many supplies to get the cost down for you. On average, most houses cost between $100-$120 per square foot.

That all varies though depending on the level of customizations you would like to see.

Can I Visit My Home While It's Under Construction?

Absolutely! While home building is an exciting process, Courtesy Custom Homes cares about your safety. Please contact us in advance and we’ll make sure it’s safe to enter the property.

When Do I Start Insuring The Home?

You will not be responsible for insuring your new home until you have close on the loan. Courtesy Custom Homes will provide insurance during the building process.

Does Courtesy Custom Homes Warranty My New Home?

Every home we build has a full year warranty, with a five-year warranty provided for the structural elements of the home.

What Separates Courtesy Custom Homes From Other Home Builders?

We are not spec builders. We build one-of-a-kind custom homes and remodel projects. Unlike most builders, we never build the same home twice. Each Courtesy Custom Home is individually designed for each client. Hence the Custom in our name.

How Do I Know That Courtesy Custom Homes Will Not Run Over My Budget?

We won’t. We work WITH our clients to keep them on budget. At the beginning of the process we’ll determine a range for the construction of your new home. We will develop allowances for each phase, material and finish based on your overall budget. We are very sensitive about budgets, and we know you are too. We want to get you right where you need to be.
